Hello!
My name is Sean, and I am a software developer and IT nerd based in Auckland, New Zealand.
In late 2023 I starting building projects in my spare time as a way to pick up new skills (and for fun), and this is where I have chosen to showcase them, as well as the other skills I have picked up over my time in IT
So far in 2025 I have completed my Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certification, as well as an AI Solutions Accelerator Programme through UniTec and Seen Ventures, where I gained experience with a lot of the latest AI tools and technologies!
I am always looking for an excuse to learn new skills and try something new, and I will (hopefully) continue to expand this page as my skillset grows!
My Strengths
javascript
JavaScript is probably the language I am the most familiar with, and it has been a major part of almost every project I have worked on (including this one!)
I have switched my focus to mastering Typescript over the last year or so, and try to use it by default on all my work now where possible
I am also very familiar with React, and have spent a lot of time working with hooks and components
I would like to spend some time learning other JavaScript frameworks in 2026. Angular and Vue have been on my todo list for a long time now, though I would be open to learning a few others too!

AI Building Memory Project
An AI-powered chatbot and information retrieval system tailored to the construction industry on behalf of Preformance/Southbase
Designed, created, and iterated over the course of 3 months as part of an AI Accelerator program through Seen Ventures
Utilises LLMs, custom system prompts, and RAG embedding to reliably retrieve information from a database and cite sources used

A small tile-based game created in JavaScript. Collect keys to get as many points as you can before the timer runs out
Originally created in under 24 hours as a fun challenge for myself, but I've since come back to it a few times to make tweaks and improvements

An interactive and educational space facts website. Each page contains a ranking of different space objects, from smallest to largest, based on a specific theme.
This was one of my first attempts at creating a live website, and although it is pretty simple I learned a lot while making it.
I also thought it was a cool domain name to own 😎
